Obama does it again: Changes in the Law Relating to Credit Cards

“You just ran an interview discussing the recent changes in the law relating to credit cards. I hope you haven’t missed the underlying facts here. The new law prevents credit card agencies from doing things like assessing fees and charges that put you over your limit and then charging you an over-limit fee. Nice. That helps people that are over-using their cards for sure. The law also limits increases in the interest rates which you would expect normally to go to those people running high balances and who can’t make their payments on time. That also helps those that abuse their credit cards In truth, everything in this law helps those who are delinquent with their cards.

But as your interviewer pointed out, the credit card companies still “have plenty of things they can do to make up for this lost revenue”.

She went on: “they can (1) charge you fees for UNDERUSE of your card, they can (2) charge you fees for INACTIVITY on your card, and they can (3) charge you fees for carrying too SMALL a balance on your card. Why they can even (4) charge you a fee just to have a card. You charge this fee selectively of course because there is no use charging customers a fee who can’t or don’t pay their basic bill on time. They won’t pay that fee either. So what do you do? Well, you charge the people who DO pay their bills on time the fee and that way you WILL get the money.”

lol. Get it folks? Under this law, they are forced to give up the fees against the abusers (non-producers) while allowing them to make up for that by increasing the fees against the non-abusers (producers). The same thing these people have done over and over again. Take from the producers and give to the non-producers. Just like the proposed Cap and Trade. Does anyone think the increased taxes that the companies would have to pay won’t result in increased prices to the consumer to make up those lost revenues? Of course they will. Those that pay their bills anyway. It will just be one more example of wealth redistribution, taking from YOU and giving to THEM.

This administration continues to talk with forked tongue. They are inept, incompetent, and consistently dedicated to a redistribution of wealth program.

If you missed this you might want to look into it and then inform the public that once again, what this man does is not what he says he is doing.

It never is.

Obama has done it again. I hear today how the new law which went into effect today curtailing the credit card company’s treatment of users is a great boon to the American consumer. lol. But is it really? Or just another underhanded way of redistributing America’s wealth. I wrote this to Fox News today following a spot they aired:

A FEW IDEAS TO AID OUR FLOUNDERING ECONOMY

By Joseph J Kusnell for Boomeryearbook.com

A bad idea: This economy has lots of very serious problems that may never be resolved. But the idea that a business is going to go hire someone for $104,000.00 who has been unemployed for 60 days all so they can get a $5,000 credit from the government is asinine. They simply will not spend $104,000 to get $5,000.00. If their business warrants adding someone at the high rate, they will do so with or without a tax credit. If it does not, they will not. Someone in Washington isn’t too bright.

Our problems seem to be magnifying daily. It’s now beyond special interest payoffs. It’s beyond politics. It’s beyond taking care of your support base or even your campaign contributors. It’s now about our future as a nation and the future of our children. In all my 80 years, this is the worst mess I have ever seen. And it’s not over yet, not even close. Soon, another explosion in real estate will hit us, this time commercial real estate like shopping malls. Their ARM’s are coming due. When that hits us this Spring, it will cause still another blow to our ailing economy.

We have a lot of problems. Nevertheless, here are a few ideas which might help.

1. Continue unemployment compensation until the unemployment rate gets down to 6.5% but introduce legislation to allow individuals to take jobs for less money and then if their new wage produces less income than what they were getting in their workman’s comp check, issue them a check for the difference. This would go on for three years to give workers a chance to adjust to lower paying jobs and perhaps earn an increase. It will also reduce government payments by up to 75% for each worker affected and that is a tremendous saving.

2. Re-introduce the old “Schedule-G” type IRS allowance for income averaging going back three calendar years for businesses and the last three years of employment for individuals. For individuals, if their average income for the last three years of employment is greater than the current year, the difference will be subtracted from the current year’s AGI. This is directed at those who have lost their jobs and had to take new jobs for less money. It will help them over the adjustment period.

3. Establish a 4.5% national cap rate on mortgages immediately. This cap on mortgage interest rates will remain in effect for five years and will be for all mortgages whether new purchases or refinanced mortgages. This will help the real estate market for home sales while helping to prevent more foreclosures by lowing carrying charges. It will also have the effect of revitalizing the economy permanently because refinancing puts more money into the economy on a monthly recurring basis unlike one time spending from a stimulus check.

4. Speaking of a stimulus, let’s have one more for $600.00 per family. BUT – and this is a big but – it will not be cash. This will be in the form of a purchase VOUCHER. The voucher will have a 120 day expiration date and will be transferable (we don’t care). However, the vouchers can only be used for the purchase of LOCAL services and/or the purchase of durable goods that are manufactured in the United States. (Not “Made in America” because that includes Canada and Mexico.)

5. GAMBLING. Hundreds of billions of dollars are now being spent in Casinos around the country and that money is ruining local businesses everywhere. They say “oh yes, but look at all the people we employ”. That’s true but it would be well to remember taking billions out of local economies and from small businesses causes lost jobs in those businesses. Usually a lot more than are hired by Casinos. Here is an example. Philadelphia Park has renovated its Casino and is now taking in millions a DAY. At five million a day, they will take in 1.8 billion dollars a year. Yes the Casino hires 600 people a good part of that money is coming from local communities. If you spread that 1.8 billion over a thousand local businesses, each one would get 1.8 million and with that increase in business they would hired in the aggregate far more than 600 people. Plus the businesses would then have to restock what they sold and that generates orders, and that in turn generates more employment by their suppliers. So the Casinos hurt not just the local community but the extended local community creating blighted areas wherever they show up. So it’s time to ask ourselves what kind of society we want to be. Once we limited Casinos to remote locales where people vacationed. That was much better than what our shortsighted states are doing now in their misdirected quest for tax money. You see folks, no matter where that 1.8 billion was spent, it would generate tax money one way or the other. This was a mistake. You can’t build a healthy society with Casinos on damn near every street corner (and yes, I do gamble).

6. Online Shopping: This is another attack on our society. With no need to maintain fancy stores in local neighborhoods, online marketers can offer products cheaper. We buy them and local businesses have to shut down for lack of business. Jobs are lost locally and society suffers. Our downtown areas become more and more blighted. You know, angry people with too much time on their hands are dangerous. Keeping people working in their localities is a sure way to keep the peace. Having an orderly society is equally important. Making money should not always be government’s number one priority. So what do we do. It’s like competing with cheap foreign labor only the competition is right here in our own country – usually. I say increase the tax on profits from online marketers to level the playing field. We need to reinforce our communities. When communities collapse, nations collapse. Online businesses take money and jobs from the local communities leaving us with empty deserted blighted downtown areas. If we are a society and not just a bunch of moneymakers, we need our local communities and we need our local businesses and we should take care of those who run businesses in our local communities and not be so generous with out-of-town online marketers.

7. The world is shrinking. We can’t stop that. But it is also causing us a giant problem: we have to compete with cheap foreign labor and nations that have no environmental laws, no health insurance mandates, no unemployment insurances and no labor laws. All these regulations tend to increase business costs so the lack of them decreases costs and that allows them to lower their prices and undercut our businesses that are faced with all those costs. So what do we do? About all we can do is find ways to help our companies out. So here are some ideas that might be of help.

8. Reduce corporation taxes based on the number of workers employed in the United States as a
percentage of this company’s worldwide employment. The more Americans you employ here, the less tax you pay.

9. Immediately transfer 3 billion dollars from the unspent stimulus money to the SBA for DIRECT loans to small businesses for startup or expansion. This is NOT to be a minority welfare handout, this is to be a sound business program lending money to entrepreneurs with going businesses or business experience married to a sound business proposal. I repeat: this is not to be another welfare program handout.

10. Encourage Americans to buy products manufactured in America wherever possible. Public service ads
explaining why they should might help.

11. Increase the minimum wage by $1.25 / hour.

11. Barring a major change in health care costs, grant a $1.50 deduction to companies for each $1.00 in health care costs paid for their employees.

ABORTION:

Abortion divides Americans. So here’s an idea. Let us take the profit out of abortions by making abortions unprofitable. Just set a price for abortions to cover all COSTS but nothing else. Make abortion clinics all non-profit. After all, why should anyone make money out of destroying the unborn? Making abortions a “product’ simply encourages more “sales” [sic: more abortions]. So, let’s take the profit out of abortions and then we’ll see whether this fuss is truly about a woman’s right to choose or simply about making money.

ENERGY: This is as dumb a policy as we have had for years. We send money to places near and far to buy their oil even though we have lots of our own oil including off shore and shale. But because of some convoluted reasoning, we would rather buy it from others who drill for it wherever the can find it without any regard to so called environmental problems rather than drill for our own WITH said safeguards. Then we turn around and lend them billions of dollars to help them drill for oil offshore (PETROBRAS, a Brazilian Company that drills OFFSHORE down there got two billion. I think Soros had a lot of shares in that company and that might explain it). Anyway, it seems we only care about the environment in our own country and not in other countries. Somehow I get the feeling it’s another scam. So let’s drill for our own oil wherever we find it. And develop our clean coal resources and our natural gas resources. The C02 scam is about over and these resources are plentiful in the United States. The fact is we haven’t even explored for 30 years so newly developed technology might uncover even more oil reserves that we thought we had. And there is always shale oil. We should have started this yesterday.

GOVERNMENT vs THE PRIVATE SECTOR: The workers doing the best these days are government workers. They make twice as much money on average as the people who pay them – the taxpayers – and they have better health insurance and better pensions. Plus they actually produce 1.8 hours less a day than their civilian counterparts.

There is a reason that of the 10% of American workers that are unionized, 70% work for non-profits (that’s a joke) or for the Government. Can you tell me who represents we taxpayers in wage negotiations between government Managers and government workers? Both are using OUR money so where is our seat at the table and where is the incentive to increase productivity or lower payroll and install cost cutting measures on the part of all these government workers?

The more people that we put to work in government in America, the more certain we are of failure. The sector that pays the bills should be the biggest by far and the sector that spends the money that creates the bills, needs to be as small as possible. So why are you all so hell bent to increase the size of the spenders (government) at the expense of those that produce (private sector). Can you show me any country in the world that ever prospered with that philosophy?

It is past time to stop spending money like drunken sailors. We need to cut the size of government not expand it. We need to reduce payrolls in government. We need to cut back down time and increase productivity. And we need to bring their benefits into line with what workers get in the private sector doing the same kind of work. Government is not SUPERIOR to the private sector it is INFERIOR. That’s why the private sector far out produces the public.

Working for the government is a great job. My friend has been working for a State government for 22 years now. He makes $100,000.00 doing a job that would get him about half that much in the private sector. He has a great pension plan and wonderful health insurance. All paid for by taxpayers who are not nearly so well off as he is. And do you know what he says to me? He says, “anyone who doesn’t work for the government is a sucker!” He’s obviously right. It is time to reign in the government. We need to cut government budgets by reducing both staff and expenses by 5% a year for the next three years for starters.

We are in a real mess and it’s just getting worse. Confidence is the basic motor for an economy and that’s what we don’t have today. Our people rightfully have no confidence in the future and that’s sad. Well, other than people working for the government. They are so isolated from reality it’s not even funny. That’s because they really don’t have to worry about losing their job as the rest of us do. Sometimes I get so confused: who works for whom again?

I care about Americans and about America and I am prepared to throw anyone – ANYONE – out of office that doesn’t have the same priority that I have. Mine is SAVE AMERICA. It’s far and away the best country this world has ever seen even if half the Obama appointees don’t seem to know that.

But that doesn’t matter because they aren’t going to be around much longer anyway.

An Opinion on Social Security

There is no way to tell today whether Obama will be in office for four years, eight years or perhaps indefinitely. I personally believe if he wins in 2012 he is going to be with us at least as long as Roosevelt was and that was 16 years. If so, there are going to be many changes made to our way of life.

Here is one that is only a  thought away. I believe in the next two years, you are going to begin to hear talk about tying social security payments to a “means test”. A means test, as you probably know, is where they determine if you really NEED your social security check or not. That will be dependent on your other assets. If they feel you can generate enough income from your investments (other than your house) to equal or approximately equal your social security payment, they will reduce your social security payment proportionately. Call it indexing social security.

You might want to consider this possibility in your long range planning. I do not think they will eliminate social security totally for anyone but they may reduce it seriously for people with net worth of $500,000.00 or more. After all, they are growing government and they need to find increasing ways to pay for these employees.

They have just announced they are hiring 1,000,000 employees at $10/20 an hour to count our citizens (census). I would have thought they could use postal employees who are already being paid to take the census. They could easily have suspended mail deliveries to residences one day a week for two weeks in order to allow the carriers to take the census. But then that wouldn’t have put another million people -? – on the payroll. So they will do it this way.

Our government has learned they can pretty much do whatever they want to us now and get away with it. So they will. Their goal is to take from those that have and give to those that have not. It certainly buys them a lot of votes.

The point of this is, if you have $400,000.00 or more in assets excluding your house, be very careful how much you depend on your social security. The check may be there but the amount may be seriously reduced.

Climate change data dumped

Climate change data dumped
Jonathan Leake, Environment Editor
SCIENTISTS at the University of East Anglia (UEA) have admitted throwing away much of the raw temperature data on which their predictions of global warming are based.
It means that other academics are not able to check basic calculations said to show a long-term rise in temperature over the past 150 years.

The UEA’s Climatic Research Unit (CRU) was forced to reveal the loss following requests for the data under Freedom of Information legislation. (Otherwise we would never have know that.)

The data were gathered from weather stations around the world and then adjusted to take account of variables in the way they were collected. The revised figures were kept, but the originals — stored on paper and magnetic tape — were dumped to save space when the CRU moved to a new building. (hahaha)

_____________________________________________________
The admission that the original data has been discarded follows the leaking of a thousand private emails sent and received by Professor Phil Jones, the CRU’s director. In them he discusses thwarting climate sceptics seeking access to such data.

In a statement on its website, the CRU said: “We do not hold the original raw data but only the value-added (quality controlled and homogenized) data.” (That means his interpretation of what the ground stations recorded.)

The CRU is the world’s leading Centre for reconstructing past climate and temperatures. Climate change sceptics have long been keen to examine exactly how its data were compiled. That is now impossible

(This would be really funny if it weren’t so serious.)

Here’s some information they aren’t tell us:

PS The raw data they are talking about came from ground collection devices placed around the world. The problem was they had specific rules for upkeep and maintenance of the stations (small boxes) to preserve the quality of their readings. These mandatory maintenance regulations were totally ignored in 3/4 of the world’s countries for years. Any data they collected had to be all but WORTHLESS.

Here are just a few examples:

(1) the stations had louvers on two sides that had to be cleaned of debris every week. That was mandatory. Unfortunately that was not done. In fact, some were uncleaned for months and even years particularly in 3rd world countries and parts of the world where political unrest was present or where people had all the could do just to stay alive. .

(2) it was mandatory that the small ground station devices been repainted WHITE every few months so they would not absorb heat and skew the results. That wasn’t done at all. In some cases, it was never done.

(3) There were stringent rules about where the weather collection stations could be placed. They units couldn’t be under trees, near buildings, near parking garages or automobile parking lots or anywhere except in clean, open, unshaded areas away from any contaminating influences i.e. buildings, cars, shade trees, air conditioning units, lights etc.

Turns out they were placed around the world in places that compromised their readings to such a degree that the readings were actually worthless. (They used them anyway because they liked what they showed – warming. Sure they were warm but the reasons were mechanical not natural.)

Interestingly, they did have weather balloon readings but since they contradicted the global warming results from the contaminated ground stations, they weren’t used. They knew the results they wanted.

This is a deliberate scam and those who perpetrated it belong in jail starting with Al Gore. They have cost the world billions if not trillions of dollars. This European meeting on climate change should be canceled today but it won’t be because it’s really about billions of dollars of American money!!!

There’s a sucker born every minute.

What constitues bribery of an elected official?

Monday, November 23rd, 2009

byb-Bush-miss me yet

By Joseph J Kusnell

Recently, the US House and the US Senate passed some legislation relating to Universal Health Care,. The vote was very close but fell generally along party lines – Democrats for and Republicans against with few exceptions.

However, recently some legislators on the edge, unsure of which side they would support, were given special inducement by both the Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi and the Majority Leader of the Senate Harry Reid.

Pelosi and Reid it has been revealed doled out hundreds of millions of taxpayer dollars – some from people that oppose the health care bill – to members of congress in order to BRIBE them to change their vote.

Three that we know about came from (1 ) California – a hundred million dollars or more to pay for a hospital wing in a congressman’s district (2) Louisiana – hundreds of millions of taxpayer money allotted to a Congresswoman’s district for Katrina victims and (3) three hundred million sent to Blanch Lincoln’s state of Arkansas in exchange for her vote on this same bill. There may be others. Very likely there ARE others. .

My question is who says this is legal? First, who gave Pelosi and Reid the right to dole our taxpayer money to representatives in order to bribe them to vote for projects favored by Pelosi and Reid? How is this legal? How is this not a crime?

I would say it is out and out BRIBERY of an ELECTED OFFICIAL. No matter they are all in the same political party, that isn’t important in the law. What is important is that no one try to bribe an elected official. If you do, you have committed a federal crime and you should go to jail.

Here is the definition of bribery: “To corrupt or gain influence by means of a bribe.”

That’s exact what Nancy Pelosi did. That’s exactly what Harry Reid did. Not only that but the money to doled out is PUBLIC MONEY and it came from many people that in fact do not approve of the legislation in question so they used everyone’s tax money for a very specific personal purpose. Isn’t that misuse of government funds?

How can it be that giving money to an elected representative to influence his vote is legal? How can the American democratic process work if leaders have access to the public till and are permitted to raid the public treasury to persuade (convince) people to vote against their conscience? That sound like a criminal act to me. And if it wasn’t to cause the recipient to get in line, then why was it given to them in the first place. After all, they were all well-known fence sitters on this bill BEFORE they got those huge grants.

Giving bribes to public officials to influence their votes is illegal. Certainly if we found money from outside the government being delivered to a representative in a brown bag, we would arrest the briber. So why does we arrest that briber just because he happens to work INSIDE the capital rather than outside?

Consider this: if a lobbyist didn’t favor this bill and walked around handing out millions of dollars in cash or promises or special treatment to Senators and Congressmen to get them to vote AGAINST the bill, he would be immediately arrested. That’s a felony!

What if each Senator or Congressman published a price list for his vote on various pieces of legislation, to wit: I am not going to support this bill but if you give me a hundred million dollars for a needed new wing on a hospital in my district, then I will indeed cast my vote for the bill. .

Is that okay? Is that legal? Or is it undermining the American legislative process? Is it bribing a public official and isn’t that a Federal crime? I think it is. In fact, I am sure it is. In fact, if that happened the Justice Department would immediately bring charges against both the person offering the bribe and the person ACCEPTING it. That’s a violation of Fiduciary Responsibility on behalf of any elected official and a act of illegal bribery for the guy offering the “favor”. That’s what Reid and Pelosi did to get enough votes to pass their partisan bill. Why shouldn’t they be charged with a crime since everyone knows this is what happened.

And the folks who accepted the bribes then voted for the legislation favored by the Speaker and the Senate Majority leader – two small time politicians one from the very limited area of San Francisco and the other from the rather small state of Nevada which earns its money from gambling, prostitution and game playing.

Did something say these two characters are above the law? Did someone tell them they could use all the money this government has at its disposal to “influence – or is it to BUY – votes in Congress?

If so, who told them that? Who told them they were above the law? Who said it was okay to bribe Congressmen and Senators with public monies?

What the hell is going on here? I thought we elected representatives to vote their conscience – to vote for what they thought was good for America? Now we learn they can bargain away their votes for cash and favors whenever possible and that’s okay with us?

No, it’s really not. That’s undermining the political process. That’s using everyone tax dollars to buy votes for their (Pelosi and Reid) personal political agenda. MY tax money was used to bribe people to vote for a bill I personally do not approve of. But even that’s not the important thing. The important thing is IT’S BRIBERY. It’s a CRIME.
Exchanging money or favors for votes may be politics but it’s still a CRIME. I think its called “undue influence”.

How many different ways is this wrong? How many different ways should this be illegal? Why aren’t Pelosi and Reid up on charges of undermining the US Political process. Instead of letting Senators and Representatives come to the conclusion that best suits their consciences, these so-call “leaders” are willing to shell out big bucks to BUY THEIR VOTES RIGHT INSIDE THE CAPITAL!

This is honest representative government in action? Like hell it is. It’s using public money to bribe public officials and anyone caught doing this should go to jail!

So how come someone in Justice isn’t looking into this? How come we don’t talk to that California representative who admitted IN PUBLIC that he exchanged his vote on health care for some money to build a new wing to a hospital in his district. How about we talk to the Congresswoman who walked home with 300 million of taxpayer dollars for “Katrina victims” in exchange for her vote on The Health Care bill. Or the Senator from Arkansas who didn’t make up her mind until Reid gave her a pocketful of tax dollars for her district. And how many others were given this special brand of persuasion? What do we have in our government’s inner circles, people that trained in the Mafia? Hell why use money to bribe them, why not just make them an offer they can’t refuse! That would work just as well.

Does this make sense to you? Do you know that Reid and Pelosi just paid almost half a BILLION dollars to buy these three votes and God knows how many more? And no one wants to challenge this in Federal Court? Folks, this is bribery! This is NOT legal! If this is the way these people are running our government, they all need to be charged with crimes and brought to trial!!! .Why not stand at the door of the Hall and simply hand out thousand dollars bills to the congressmen and women as they come in. You know a big smile and a “Hope you are with us on this one, this is for you.”
And you hand that the thousand dollar note.

Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid have BRIBED at least three Representatives and Senators. No one can tell me this is lawful or legal or proper. It is none of these things. What it is, is criminal! Let’s shine a spotlight on this and watch which rats scurry for cover. .

I want these two charged with bribing high government officials. I think the case against them is open and shut. And it will invovled far more than three people, I will bet you. God knows how much of our money these two have used to BUY this legislation.

The people we sent to Washington as our representatives are supposed to vote on conscience not for cash on the barrel head. .Hell, if they can be bribed on one project, why not on another? And if they can be bribed why can’t everyone. Or can they?

And if everyone can, what kind of government is this and why do we bother to vote. I thought we elected representatives to represent US – but apparently they represent whomever gives them the biggest kick back. I can see them now taking the oath with one hand on the Bible and the other held open behind them where people can stuff money into it.

CALL IT WHAT IT IS – WHAT THESE TWO DID WAS TO BRIBE HIGH GOVERNMENT OFFICIALS IN ORDER TO UNDULY INFLUENCE OUR LEGISLATIVE PROCESS. I AM NOT SURE BUT I THINK THAT’S A FEDERAL CRIME NO MATTER WHO DOES IT!!!!!!

So let’s file charges and see what rats run out of the smoking building.

God Bless America. God Bless honesty and integrity. It seems to have disappeared from our government – maybe we should do something to bring it back

On behalf of the American voter, I demand an investigation be opened immediately to determine if Speaker of the House of Representatives Nancy Pelosi and Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid broke the law in giving special consideration to at least these three elected officials in order to cause them to change their vote on the Health Care Bill.

Because if they did, they belong in jail!!!

“HERE COMES SARAH!”

“HERE COMES SARAH!”

By Joseph J Kusnell

This race has just begun!!!

Sarah has had MINIMAL positive exposure so far thanks to the liberal leftist media. She has taken their biggest hits and is still standing!!! I liken it to a prize fighter who gets hit constantly in the first two rounds but stays on his feet. His opponent is going to be shocked to learn that the fight is far from over. In fact, today’s polls show a surprising story. Sarah’s popularity is growing not diminishing.

Today is not 2012. That’s a long way from now. Sarah has three years to make her case, hit the campaign trail, build political bridges etc. She needs money certainly but to underrate her would be the liberals most serious mistake. And I think they know that which is why they are hitting her so hard. Wait until she begins hitting back aT their weaknesses. This battle has barely begun.

I don’t know if Governor Palin can make it all the way to the top but I don’t have to know that today. For today, I know she is a growing power in politics, that she has 20 million supporters who need to give her a few dollars each to work with in 2010, that she has energy, youth, brains, experience and she is the antithesis of all those East coast Marxist jerks we can’t stand. And a lot of other Americans also can’t stand.
She is a refreshing change.

Republicans are just 23% of the vote. Blue dogs that will cross over probably number 3-5% more that we could attract. We would need 22% more and that must come from Independents which number about 40% legitimately. So she needs half. But she has three years to gather them into her fold.

Palin was viewed favorably by just 23% three months ago. Then that moved to 30%. This morning it is 45%. And she has just begun to fight. She has next year when she will campaign across the country and two years after that. That’s a lot of room for growth and she starts with great qualities. We will see what we see.

The following CBS graph was supposedly a bad picture of her popularity a few months ago. (And remember the liberal media will print lies if they have to. They will also call very carefully selected people and asked leading questions to get the results they want. And they will always print worse-case numbers.) So at first blush, this looks bad.

“ONLY 23% OF AMERICANS VIEW PALIN FAVORABLY,” they said.

Yes but – 20% said they hadn’t decided and 17% said they hadn’t heard enough. That’s not negative at all and in lieu of all the horrible things printed about her every day, it’s actually pretty reasonable.

Now they will have a chance to meet her and hear her over and over. Add tthet 23% to the 20% and the 17% and look what you have: you have 60% willing to be convinced!!!

More importantly with all the negative press, Sarah in this CBS poll was seen unfavorably by just 38% of the public. That could be 10% Blacks (90% of 12.5%) , 11% Hispanics (78% of 14.5%), and 6% radical leftists. But that’s the Democratic hard core base right now anyway Let’s assume the other 11% came from the 40% Independents. Even a few of those could be taken back.

Looking beyond the obvious I would say Sarah Palin took their best shots and is still standing and she is now ready and better prepared to hit back hard in the 2010 elections.

But she needs money to tour the country on behalf of candidates we want in office.
Therefore, all her supporters need to send money to her PAC. $10 or $15 bucks each would be enough if everyone did it. Say $15 now and $15 in three months. Everyone can afford that. Spread the word. Her Pac address follows.

This would give her 300 MILLION dollars and if money is what Obama used to electe himself, Sarah can do even better for her candidates because she is a genuine leader, a good person, an example of a strong, experienced, capable politician and very likable. Plus she is a true American patriot. Wait and see. This battle has just begun and she withstood the first huge barrage – what do they have to hit her with now? Sarah is not only still standing but stronger than she ever was. Don’t be deceived. As she campaigns, as she toughens up, she will start hitting back harder and harder and she is going to energize the Obama opposition like we haven’t seen for years. .

Sarah Palin has just completed Round 1 of a 10 round bout. She took some good shots but she is still standing. Now someone is in for a hell of a shock.

I sent a small donation and I will send another. Everyone should send a few bucks. This is the woman of the hour. Spread the word. Invest in Sarah and she will re-invest your money in America!

What a symbol. What a bumper sticker. That banner with the flag and the serpent with Sarah’s head. lol. Think that would be too much? “DON’T TREAD ON ME!”

Unlike you, I think our fight has just begun.

WAIT UNTIL THE LEFT SEES WHAT IS IN STORE FOR THEM FROM THE LADY FROM ALASKA!

They ain’t seen nothing yet!

Here’s where you send your money!

By Joseph J. Kusnell

Dear Senators,

I received this from Senator Arlen Spector’s (PA) office:

“Health care reform should improve health care for those currently insured. Insurance companies should cover more preventive care costs and be prohibited from refusing to renew coverage in the event of catastrophic illnesses, denying coverage, or charging higher rates based on gender, pre-existing conditions or health status. Reforms should also eliminate lifetime and annual caps and limit out of pocket expenses.”

Give me a break. First, let’s discuss pre-existing conditions. How do you presume a for-profit company can accept someone at $700/mo. who is terminally ill and will cost them one million dollars. Would you do that with your own money? And what happens to the company or its employees because that company can’t stay in business being Santa Claus to people they never saw until they walked in sick.

The cap is another matter and certainly a case can be made that you can’t discharge someone simply because they reach a maximum cost to you; not if you are to remain in the insurance business. That has an element of truth but the rest is political and that’s sickening.

Some insurance companies have a waiting period for pre-existing illnesses. Why not just let Medicare cover the waiting period and then turn it back to the private company. That works for me.

As to the 43 million or 61 million or 30 million – Democrats have used all those numbers – the truth is none of them are accurate and your using them tells me you don’t mind lying if it gets your agenda passed.

The following breakdown comes directly from the US Census Bureau, 2009.

 10.0 million are individuals who have income of $66,000 for a family of four that choose not to have insurance. They could afford it if they wanted it. It’s their choice. ERASE 10.0 MILLION.

 9.3 million are non-citizens who generally do not pay tax. (ILLEGALS)
They are going to become part of the final group in this list. So save this number.

 6.4 million are enrolled in Medicaid or S-CHIP but reported to the Census taker that they were not. This phenomenon is known among statisticians as the Medicaid undercount. These folks are covered yet are wrongfully included in the non-covered count. ERASE 6.4 MILLION.

 4.3 million are eligible for Medicaid or S-CHIP but for their own reasons, have not enrolled.
(So when they come in for any service, enroll them. Problem solved. ERASE 4.3 MILLION.

 5 million are childless, mainly healthy young adults who could afford insurance but don’t want to pay for it because they think they are indestructible. Money is not their problem so (1) mandate health insurance to get a driver’s license and (2) offer cataclysmic health insurance for singles up to age 35. Then let them buy their own insurance. ERASE 5 MILLION.

 10 million indeed do need help to buy insurance. So save this number.

So in summation, you can see that the number that have no insurance and cannot afford insurance is really significantly less than 43 million. It is closer to 20 million and that includes 10 million who are not even citizens of the United States. You could buy them all health insurance for 160 billion s year and it would be a lot cheaper than what you are doing and a lot smarter. Anyway, they don’t all need 100% assistance. Some may need as little as half so the total would probably be under 100 billion annually. Far short of a trillion.

If you really wanted to solve the problems you could but it wouldn’t fit your real agenda – Universal Health Insurance and control of 1/3 of the US economy – so you won’t. And because you are so biased and so driven by your agenda, we can’t resolve the real problems that do in fact exist. Thanks to you, this has become a political football rather than a true attempt at reform.

You people should all be kicked out of office since you are incapable of telling the truth.

I care about the poor and disfranchised but that doesn’t make me stupid. If you kill the goose that lays the golden eggs, there will be no more geese and no more golden eggs either. And if you take from producers repeatedly to give to non-producers you are going to create a world of non-producers and in the end that just won’t work. What do you guys eat for dinner anyway.

We are being led by fools.

Oh yes, I love the idea of Marxists and Mao-lovers in the White House and DEVOUT MUSLIMS in Homeland Security lol. I was led to believed that the guns that ran those planes into the World Trade Center were all DEVOUT MUSLIMS.

What’s up, Mr. Chamberlain? How did your meeting go with Mr. Hitler?????

Dopes.

If we get hit because of your idiocy and toleration of our enemies, I hope it’s in your town and not mine.

Say a prayer for the kids killed at Ft Hood in that “man made disaster”.

The lady in the harbor has a tear in her eye, for sure.

Sincerely,

Mr. Joseph Kusnell

A LESSON IN WEALTH REDISTRIBUTION

By Joseph J Kusnell

This is how it works, this is how they redistribute the wealth.

First, as a government you can spend money any way you like. So if you are the current government, you give it to non-producers in order to help them which is your goal.

You can give out welfare checks or food stamps. You can give out tax rebates to people that don’t pay taxes. You can have a “Cash for Clunkers” program which is money for nothing. You can give our stimulus payments. You can buy a car company and stiff all the investors and shareholders and bondholders and IRA investors so the union members can keep their high paying jobs – the jobs they have done poorly for years. Then you can advertise all kinds of deals for these cars (GM) knowing if you operate at a loss, you can just steal more taxpayer dollars for that company. It also creates a situation where you can hurt your competition that must make a profit to exist, unlike your company. GM says buy a car if you don’t like it bring it back in 60 days. Okay, then it will be a used car and will have lost value. What happens to that lost value? That’s easy, the taxpayers pay for it. A normal company couldn’t allow this, but “Government Motors” can because this President who can’t seem to get anything right, will simply send them more taxpayer dollars. That’s because he wants to take care of his friends, his pals, his buddies, his supporters. Let’s call it what it is: political nepotism. That’s seems to fit very well.

It’s the same with not drilling for our own oil so we can then send billions of our own dollars overseas buying oil from other countries. That way we redistribute our wealth which is the whole idea. That’s the Democrats for you.

Then there is this: we just lent PETROBRAS – the Brazilian State Oil Company – billions of American dollars to help them drill offshore for oil which they can then sell to China. You need to be either as dumb as dirt or agenda-driven to think any of this makes any sense. Because it doesn’t. We give our money to Brazil so they can do offshore oil which we aren’t allowed to do in America. Make sense? How about this? George Soros founder of the ACLU, Moveon.Org, Mediamatters.com and other liberal sites, a man who gave tons of money to Obama for his election campaign, just happened to own lots of shares in PETROBRAS earlier this year. He sold it at a big profit. Then Obama lends PETROBRAS billions of our taxpayer dollars so they can find oil offshore, sell it to China, and make money and create jobs for Brazilians.

Can you explain that to me? Are you so dumb that you can’t see through this hypocrisy? They won’t let us drill for our own oil so we have to buy oil from other countries weakening us and strengthening them. Why? Because that’s what this guy said he wanted: he wanted a less rich, less strong, less robust, less influential America. He also said he want’s to put our navy under control of some international body giving up our sovereignty altogether. He believes in one world and that is a world where we are just one of many. He truly wants to change America and what he wants to change us into, isn’t pretty.

Add in Cap and Trade, a penalty system meant to punish America further for its success by making up some nonsense about C02 causing us to send our money in penalties to the UN for distribution among their own countries.

In time, we will be broke. What do governments do when they are broke? That’s, easy, they raise taxes. And who pays those increased taxes? Well, the same people that paid the prior taxes because they are the only ones that ever pay taxes.

Okay, so they pay and the cycle starts over again and it will continue until there is no one left that can pay any taxes and then everyone will be equally poor and equally broke. Then we can all live in our worker state paradise and suffer together.

That’s socialism. That’s Marxism. That’s this government, one of rampant economic insanity. In the end, no one will have anything because producers, who can’t keep some of what they earn, will stop producing and the non-producers who never did produce still won’t produce and therefore nobody will.

Have a nice day, America. You put a dunce in control of your country and you gave him the key to the bank.

Now watch and see what happens to all of us. It won’t be pretty.

Actually, it’s already begun. And this guy gets up and talks nonsense and the suckers drink it in and the attack on American and American liberty continues.

How did we let so many dumb people get in here?

Joey

The Cunning Plan: BoomerYearbook.com

The Cunning Plan: BoomerYearbook.com

By Joseph J Kusnell

Dear Mr. President:

Dear Mr. President:

You have lied and deceived us every step of the way since you have been in office. You are constantly running around the world I assume campaigning for the world Presidency while condemning America for everything from causing poverty to creating international tensions.

The economy is in the tank thanks to the Democratic Party and all those no-doc loans packaged as derivatives and then sold to unwary investors around the world, yet you spend more time winning friends and influencing people abroad than you do on the job. (You all should be in jail for what you did with Fannie Mae.)

You passed a huge stimulus and most of the money remains unspent. We have roads and bridges badly in need of repair and no money sent to the states to do that work which of course would make us safer and also create jobs. You are too busy trying to “fundamentally change America”. That makes me wonder sir, from what, to what would you like to change us??? From a White dominated society to a society dominated by people of color? Is that it, Mr. President? Is that your agenda?

I remember when you said if we didn’t pass the stimulus right away, unemployment might reach 8% which it would not do if we passed it. We passed that nonsense (unread) and unemployment is now at least 10.2% nationally and as high as 17.0% in some localities. And what do you say now? This is Bush’s fault. We inherited this mess from him.

No, Sir, you did not. When Bush left office unemployment was 5.8%. The Democratic Congress created this mess by insisting mortgages be given to people who could never hope to service them or to pay them. That signaled financial destruction for our system and to many of the world’s financial systems. Trillions of dollars of bad mortgages (toxic assets) tucked inside investor derivatives totally unknown to the buyers who believed Fannie Mae mortgages were still as secure as they had been historically. But they weren’t thanks to you and your Democratic colleagues.

So now I have a suggestion: instead of blaming someone else as you have been doing and getting away with, its time to look in a mirror. This is YOUR depression and you were responsible for us getting into it and now you are responsible for getting us out of it. Not with handouts. Not with free money we can’t possible pay for, but with JOBS. With ideas that stimulate our ECONOMY.

Stay the hell home and DO SOMETHING!

What? I’ll tell you what.

(1) Take some of that unspent money and transfer a few billions to the SBA for direct loans to small businesses. NOT minorites which is your strong suit. To businessmen and businesswomen that qualify for direct loans. Put money into startups and expansion. Just do it with the SBA rather than the banks and do it directly but be smart about it. Make them business loans not handouts to your priviliedged few.

(2) With that done, pass some legislation. Here are some examples: (a) increase deductions by 50% for all money paid by employers for health care costs (b) reduce corporate taxes indexed to the number of Americans hired in the United States by these corporations. The more Americans they employ, the better the tax breaks. After all, Sir, American labor costs more so we have to help our companies afford us. (c) reduce or eliminate taxes on capital gains. That money becomes investment money and that’s what we need now. (4) Release some of that stimulus money for bridge and road repairs just like you said you would and keep minority programs separate from job creation. One is our economic problem which affects us all, the other is a social problem. We can solve the second better if we solve the first now.

You see Mr. President, your Marxists friends never did understand this but worker’s republics around the world all fail. China was failing before it decided to open up its citizens to a form of capitalism. That’s because their Marxist economy failed so miserably. When China wised up, things began to improve. And you want to take us back to that failed system?

Freedom works. Competition works. Capitalism works. Our private sector works. Sure we need controls and limits but we set them and then we let our American entrepreneus loose and they will solve our problems. Certainly not you and not the Democratic Marxist Socialist bunch of morons you put in to office half of whom belong in jail. And certainly not the US Government which couldn’t run a charity bazzar successfully. Check out the government’s history: Hud, Fannie Mae, Freedie Mac, The Post Office, Amtrak, Medicare, Social Security, Medicaid – they are all trillions of dollars in debt! Badly run, poorly supervised, and totally inefficient. It nobody’s fault because entities as big as our Federal Government basically are out of control what with duplications, mistakes, graft and corruption and political payoffs. How could it possible suceed in running a business? Answer: It can’t.

Come home, stay home, and do your job. The health care problem can be resolve far more easily and cheaply by setting some rules and then letter it alone. Everyone can be covered with insurance because everyone today is getting health care one way or the other. NONE of them are just dying in the streets as your lying Czars keep telling us.

Wise up. If you want to destroy America, we are going to destroy you. IF you want to make us a stupid Socialist state like your friends at SEIU want, we will throw you out of office!

God knows I could do a better job running this country, saving America, and putting our people back to work than you are doing. And maybe if you would get away from your rendition of Black reparations (Hawaii???) and concentrate on the other 66% of Americans, maybe you can actually do something good for your country.

It IS your country, isn’t it Mr President?
You were elected to work for us. How about coming home, staying home, and doing just that: working for US. For all of us.

JOBS – JOBS – JOBS. That is the key to ending this depression. And get off helping big corporations, big banks, big labor unions, big associations like the NEW and Trial Lawyers and Unions – you belong to US, not to THEM!!!

Get it? Get it!!!!!!!!!!!

My God what have we done!

We don’t use the word terrorist anymore….

Boomeryearbook.com: Terrorism gets a new name

Boomeryearbook.com: Terrorism gets a new name

by Joseph J Kusnell

Article:

We don’t use the word “terrorist” anymore because according to our President, we don’t want to upset the “peaceful” Muslims? Is that the reason or is it because our President has extended Muslim family ties and he is more kindly deposed towards Muslims than are the rest of us?

It doesn’t matter. The majority of Muslims may be peaceful but they are not the danger and if they are silent, then they are part of the problem.

The Revolutionary War was supported by fewer than 1/3 of Americans. Half of the country supported England and 25% were woodmen who didn’t concern themselves with their government or its activities. The minority went to war, fought the war, and earned the victory.

Fidel Castro had about 5,000 supporters in the mountains of Cuba when he initiated his revolution. They were a minority. The majority never was involved. .

Minorities can be very dangerous. The Nazi party was an minority in Germany in the early thirties. The majority had nothing to do with or say about them. Even today if you ask, most Germans they will tell you the majority of Germans were never Nazi’s. Yet the Nazi’s started a war that ended up destroying Germany and killing millions.

My point is that violent minorities often control passive majorities. So when you hear most Muslims are not suicide bombers, so what? Go to any Mosque and most of the people there are not fanatics but the fanatics will do the talking and the others will shut up out of fear. The London Mosques are filled with radicals running the show and the majority is as silent as it is “peaceful”.

Two years ago, a poll was conducted in England. English Muslim citizens were asked if they had to choose between their country (England) and their religion (Islam), which would they choose? Over 80% said their religion. We need to make sure Americans know about that poll and understand what it says about Muslims, good and bad.

The “good” Muslims are not going out on the limb against their religion to save us. You can bet on that. We need to save ourselves.

There are a billion Muslims in the world and maybe 20-40 thousand of them are directly involved with el Queda. And unknown number of others support them. Fine. So if the peaceful majority wants to be counted, let them take control of the radical minority and help us deal with them. Let them step up and do something positive. They can’t be on both sides at the same time.

If they don’t speak up, if they don’t help control the radicals among them, then they are part of the problems and their feelings are of no consequence to me.

This is a matter of life and death as we saw at Virginia Tech and now at Ft. Hood. The perpetrators were Muslims – radical and fanatical Muslims. We must call them what they are if we are to protect ourselves. They were Muslims.

If so many Muslims are peaceful as they say, let them show themselves in their Mosques. Let them stand up and offer testimony opposed to what is being offered by their more radical Imams. Maybe they should form groups that can stand up against the radicals and talk for peace among their people.

If they cannot or will not because they are intimidated then they are no help to us and we can’t be unduly concerned over their hurt feelings.

Seldom is the majority ever involved in radical type revolutionary movements. it is always a minority and usually the minority is a violent, hate-filled angry minority that intimates the majority as happened in Nazi Germany, Cuba, Argentina, Russia and China among other places.

If the “good” Muslims can’t control or help us to control the “bad” Muslims, then we need to act on our own and we can’t worry about the sensibilities of these people. We need to deal with the fanatics because they are the ones that threaten us and those others have already demonstrated they are followers not leaders. That means they will follow whoever is the leader, even el Queda. .

Finally remember this: America is VERY vulnerable for large scale terrorist activities. We are wide open and some of the things they can do are hottible to contemplate. Being weak or uncertain or unwilling to act forcibly is the best to guarantee the death of large numbers of Americans.

Say it aloud, America. TERRORISM. Radical, fundamentalist Muslim terrorism is the real danger!!!

By any other name, it remains the same.
