Apologies,Ladies…!

Mr Obama’s take on how ‘American men treat American women badly’ begs the question: how did he arrive at this opinion? One can only assume that his experience of male and female relationships has been typified by arrogant machoism. Where, exactly, has Mr Obama been spending his time to become drawn into this locker-room impression of American male attitudes that represent American men as almost Neanderthal?

Psychological articles teach us that apologies can be difficult for some people who have difficulty admitting wrong doing. Others, equally guilty, find absolution in the simple act of saying they are sorry, whether they deserve it or not, rendering the exercise pointless.

Of course, the dramatic and overt public apologies to which Mr Obama subscribes do spark debate; affording a modicum of extra popularity (he thinks) and costs, let’s see now – erm – oh – nothing! Yes, folks, the ‘public apology crusade’ budget is zero; allowing Obama to appear benevolent; self deprecating and generous, without spending a single cent of tax payers’ money. He seems intent on practicing his skills in the art of apology on everyone he feels America has offended and some America hase not offended: no political opportunity is missed whenever Obama decides to reel in some credit from carefully selected audiences.

His apology to American women, many of whom are baby boomers, comes on the heels of apologies to China (yes, China – for the rape and pillage of Nanking, apparently, on behalf of Japanese Emperor Akihito: it was considered the neighborly thing to do…!); to two Muslim ladies for a seating plan from which they were excluded for security reasons; to Japan for giving it a good thrashing in World War II; to Chinese president Hu Jintao for being chummy with the Dalai Lama; and last but not least, let us not forget Sergeant James Crowley, the Cambridge, Massachusetts police officer at the center of controversy over his arrest of noted Harvard African-American scholar and friend of Obama, Henry Louis Gates, Jr.

Although it is becoming accustomed to Obama’s propensity to say sorry at every opportunity, the rest of the World and especially lady baby boomers raise eyebrows in surprise at the news that American women are treated badly. Until now, American women were credited for being independent, politically informed and sufficiently respected to hold their own in the international community without Obama’s kind patronage. Thanks Mr.President, for dismantling the dignity of American male / female relationships in a single swipe!

At home, Mr.Obama’s over anxious and mealy mouthed apology program has angered and offended an army of indignant American baby boomers, outraged at what they see as the demeaning of their national status on the World stage, seeing his policies as discrediting the country in terms of foreign diplomacy. Many of them would prefer to see an attempt at resolving America’s economic and security issues, rather than this futile and empty campaign to promote its president as Mr Nice Guy. Psychological articles observe that a personality that is over apologetic might be suffering from lack in confidence (although probably not in this case) and as we all know, the value of apology becomes shallow through over use.

Frequently referred to in the international press as a ‘snake in the grass’

http://www.nowpublic.com/world/obamacare-snake-grass-rears-its-ugly-head, http://www2.mcdowellnews.com/content/2008/nov/18/letter-editor-youll-learn-obama-snake-grass/news-opinion/) and determined to charm America’s female population, Mr. Obama’s impromptu apologies about the way American women are treated are seen by him as steps in the right direction: American women may easily conclude that in the Obama household frequent apology, justified or otherwise, is the prescribed antidote to feminine disapproval…

American baby boomers view these hollow political gestures with interest – waiting, indeed hoping, for fleeting moments of useful statesmanship to appear amidst Obama’s Oscar-winning performances that draw applause from gullible fans and supporters at home and abroad. Mr. Obama is nothing short of accomplished when it comes to inspiring popularity and also extreme offence in the same sentence and continues to play to the crowd whenever he speaks publicly; like a true thespian- but possibly less sincerity?

Sex and How to Dress to Get It

Sex and How To Dress: BoomerYearbook.com

This series of articles from Boomer Yearbook explores the fascinating and varied sexual behavioral patterns that occur as a result of the impact of the modern World; the challenges faced by men and women of the new age and the hurdles that must be addressed: Boomer Yearbook’s Guide and Coaching Strategy for the baby boomer generation.

Dr. Karen for BoomerYearbook.com

In the interests of getting sex, baby boomers turn all kinds of cartwheels and perform any number of fashion contortions. As we reach our fifties, sixties and seventies we often have a libido that is no less active and unfortunately, a mirror that is no less truthful than it was twenty years ago!

Women who are getting on in life go through the aging process. This removes elasticity from the skin; drops stomachs making it difficult to wear jeans attractively; piles weight on and turns hair gray and wiry: all part of growing older but not exactly helpful on a hot date. Male baby boomers have different problems: hairy ears, noses, and backs; baldness; love handles that nobody wants to handle.

Psychological articles tell us that one of the worst possible fashion faux pax made by baby boomers needing to dress to attract a sexual partner is making the effort to appear younger. A sixty year old woman in a short skirt does not look like a thirty year old woman in short skirt: she just looks like a sixty year old woman who should be wearing a longer skirt.

Male baby boomers with a hair problem (or rather a ‘lack of hair’ problem) really need to address the issue with some practicality and not try to fool themselves that their toupee, three shades lighter than the rest of their hair, looks natural: it just looks silly! Sorry to be cruel, guys! A cringe-inducing story is that of the young lady who found a fifty year old irresistible and went to bed with him, then screeched to wake the dead when she found a 12 inch piece of hair encroaching her pillow in the morning – a legacy of ‘comb over’!

A professional hair transplant is a much better idea if your lack of hair is causing you a confidence problem, boys. But make sure you consult a professional – perhaps start with the International Society of Hair Restoration Society (ISHRS – www.ishrs.org) and pick a doctor you can trust.

Psychological articles recommend that you consult your mirror with pride and make a brave decision to be yourself when you are seeking a sexual partner. There is little value in finding a common ground with someone and then being unable to sustain the artifice you have used to draw their interest in the early stages. Ladies who wear revealing clothes to attract sexual interest run the risk of attracting the exact kind of interest she would be better to avoid.

Men who delight in attracting young women for sex usually end up being very lonely when they find they have nothing in common other than sex – try finding a partner of your own generation, boys, for real fun-in and out of the bedroom!

Using Sex to Get What You Want: How Can It Be Wrong?

Greying Boomers Using Sex: BoomerYearbook.com

This series of articles from Boomer Yearbook explores the fascinating and varied sexual behavioral patterns that occur as a result of the impact of the modern World; the challenges faced by men and women of the new age and the hurdles that must be addressed: Boomer Yearbook’s Guide and Coaching Strategy for the baby boomer generation.

Dr. Karen for BoomerYearbook.com

Baby boomers are a sexy generation, everyone knows that – they invented the wheel when it comes to matters of the libido and continue to interest the rest of society with their ‘gray sex revolution’ and their determination to be the oldest swingers in history. Psychological articles observe that baby boomers have turned sexual interests into something that can be freely debated; enjoyed outside of the institution of marriage; used to get what you want.

What was that?! Used to get what you want? How can that be right!? The fact is, though, that some do use sex indiscriminately to attain all kinds of things – material possessions; career advancement; emotional one-upmanship within a relationship. Is it wrong? You decide.

There is a fine line between knowing something is wrong and actually doing it. We all know that using one’s sexual allurements in exchange for money is called prostitution and all our mothers teach us that this is immoral and nice girls (and boys) don’t do it. However, when we are striving for success in our career and we know the boss has a soft spot for us, Mom is not always on hand to say; ‘Don’t you dare do that!’ Or at the very least, ‘Don’t you dare do that without a condom!’

Sexual favors are a persuasive element in just about any context, whether it is the simple act of getting your own way with the boyfriend over how to spend Sunday afternoon or using your sexual influence to turn opinion over how to spend the state security budget: it is all a matter of scale.

Baby boomers and their sexual relationships have the pebble in a pond effect – one small act changes so many events. A woman sleeping with her boss for favors can change the career path of everyone around her; some of them detrimentally: people who deserve advancement don’t get it because Flossie in accounting dropped her drawers for JP on the top floor after the last Christmas party.

Psychological articles take a dim view of the effect sexual compromise can have on the human psyche. Baby boomers indulging in this method of getting what they want all of their lives suddenly suffer emotional fallout when they realize they no longer have the sexual allure they once had and experience all kinds of loss issues when they have to come to terms with attainment through different means.

The Bedroom Influence: The Hold Baby Boomer Women Have Over Men

The Bedroom Influence: Boomeryearbook.com

This series of articles from Boomer Yearbook explores the fascinating and varied sexual behavioral patterns that occur as a result of the impact of the modern World; the challenges faced by men and women of the new age and the hurdles that must be addressed: Boomer Yearbook’s Guide and Coaching Strategy for the baby boomer generation.

Dr. Karen for BoomerYearbook.com

It’s the sex thing again – whenever the subject of baby boomers and their influence on the World is discussed, the sexual freedom thing comes to the surface. It is true that baby boomers did renovate the World’s attitude to sex but most of all, they resolved to stay true to their own concepts of how their sex lives should be run. Women who are baby boomers exert power over their men through sexuality by making sex part of home comfort and an integral ingredient of a man’s overall well being.

The bedroom influence is a force to be reckoned with when it comes to getting the old man to do something he doesn’t want to do. Cynical though it may be, lady baby boomers can be quite naughty when it comes to manipulating a situation to get what they want and if that includes withdrawing sexual favors for a while, they simply add it to the agenda.

Psychological articles point out that a woman’s sexual affection can boost a man’s confidence and also his physical wellness. It can also undermine a man’s ability to enjoy life if it is withdrawn for a given period.

Lady baby boomers have a certain ‘proprietorial’ instinct in matters that affect their partners and husbands. They are not afraid of taking responsibility for decisions and in so doing, using their sexual influence to achieve their goals. It is quite common for lady boomers to ‘persuade’ their husbands to their point of view through sex, with every confidence that theirs is the right perspective and hubby will eventually come round! Rightly or wrongly, the arrangement works very well in a great number of boomer marriages.

Do boomer men know they are being manipulated? Certainly! Those who say they do not are simply stepping around the issue of sexual influence and the impact it has in their lives. Psychological articles show us that men do not always have to agree with their wives in order to love and respect them and the reverse is also true. Women use their sexual influence simply because they can: fewer men are able to do so but those who can, do!

Sex is not everything but to men who have been given the cold shoulder until they decide to see sense and agree to ‘whatever’, it can seem pretty important!

What constitues bribery of an elected official?

Monday, November 23rd, 2009

byb-Bush-miss me yet

By Joseph J Kusnell

Recently, the US House and the US Senate passed some legislation relating to Universal Health Care,. The vote was very close but fell generally along party lines – Democrats for and Republicans against with few exceptions.

However, recently some legislators on the edge, unsure of which side they would support, were given special inducement by both the Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi and the Majority Leader of the Senate Harry Reid.

Pelosi and Reid it has been revealed doled out hundreds of millions of taxpayer dollars – some from people that oppose the health care bill – to members of congress in order to BRIBE them to change their vote.

Three that we know about came from (1 ) California – a hundred million dollars or more to pay for a hospital wing in a congressman’s district (2) Louisiana – hundreds of millions of taxpayer money allotted to a Congresswoman’s district for Katrina victims and (3) three hundred million sent to Blanch Lincoln’s state of Arkansas in exchange for her vote on this same bill. There may be others. Very likely there ARE others. .

My question is who says this is legal? First, who gave Pelosi and Reid the right to dole our taxpayer money to representatives in order to bribe them to vote for projects favored by Pelosi and Reid? How is this legal? How is this not a crime?

I would say it is out and out BRIBERY of an ELECTED OFFICIAL. No matter they are all in the same political party, that isn’t important in the law. What is important is that no one try to bribe an elected official. If you do, you have committed a federal crime and you should go to jail.

Here is the definition of bribery: “To corrupt or gain influence by means of a bribe.”

That’s exact what Nancy Pelosi did. That’s exactly what Harry Reid did. Not only that but the money to doled out is PUBLIC MONEY and it came from many people that in fact do not approve of the legislation in question so they used everyone’s tax money for a very specific personal purpose. Isn’t that misuse of government funds?

How can it be that giving money to an elected representative to influence his vote is legal? How can the American democratic process work if leaders have access to the public till and are permitted to raid the public treasury to persuade (convince) people to vote against their conscience? That sound like a criminal act to me. And if it wasn’t to cause the recipient to get in line, then why was it given to them in the first place. After all, they were all well-known fence sitters on this bill BEFORE they got those huge grants.

Giving bribes to public officials to influence their votes is illegal. Certainly if we found money from outside the government being delivered to a representative in a brown bag, we would arrest the briber. So why does we arrest that briber just because he happens to work INSIDE the capital rather than outside?

Consider this: if a lobbyist didn’t favor this bill and walked around handing out millions of dollars in cash or promises or special treatment to Senators and Congressmen to get them to vote AGAINST the bill, he would be immediately arrested. That’s a felony!

What if each Senator or Congressman published a price list for his vote on various pieces of legislation, to wit: I am not going to support this bill but if you give me a hundred million dollars for a needed new wing on a hospital in my district, then I will indeed cast my vote for the bill. .

Is that okay? Is that legal? Or is it undermining the American legislative process? Is it bribing a public official and isn’t that a Federal crime? I think it is. In fact, I am sure it is. In fact, if that happened the Justice Department would immediately bring charges against both the person offering the bribe and the person ACCEPTING it. That’s a violation of Fiduciary Responsibility on behalf of any elected official and a act of illegal bribery for the guy offering the “favor”. That’s what Reid and Pelosi did to get enough votes to pass their partisan bill. Why shouldn’t they be charged with a crime since everyone knows this is what happened.

And the folks who accepted the bribes then voted for the legislation favored by the Speaker and the Senate Majority leader – two small time politicians one from the very limited area of San Francisco and the other from the rather small state of Nevada which earns its money from gambling, prostitution and game playing.

Did something say these two characters are above the law? Did someone tell them they could use all the money this government has at its disposal to “influence – or is it to BUY – votes in Congress?

If so, who told them that? Who told them they were above the law? Who said it was okay to bribe Congressmen and Senators with public monies?

What the hell is going on here? I thought we elected representatives to vote their conscience – to vote for what they thought was good for America? Now we learn they can bargain away their votes for cash and favors whenever possible and that’s okay with us?

No, it’s really not. That’s undermining the political process. That’s using everyone tax dollars to buy votes for their (Pelosi and Reid) personal political agenda. MY tax money was used to bribe people to vote for a bill I personally do not approve of. But even that’s not the important thing. The important thing is IT’S BRIBERY. It’s a CRIME.
Exchanging money or favors for votes may be politics but it’s still a CRIME. I think its called “undue influence”.

How many different ways is this wrong? How many different ways should this be illegal? Why aren’t Pelosi and Reid up on charges of undermining the US Political process. Instead of letting Senators and Representatives come to the conclusion that best suits their consciences, these so-call “leaders” are willing to shell out big bucks to BUY THEIR VOTES RIGHT INSIDE THE CAPITAL!

This is honest representative government in action? Like hell it is. It’s using public money to bribe public officials and anyone caught doing this should go to jail!

So how come someone in Justice isn’t looking into this? How come we don’t talk to that California representative who admitted IN PUBLIC that he exchanged his vote on health care for some money to build a new wing to a hospital in his district. How about we talk to the Congresswoman who walked home with 300 million of taxpayer dollars for “Katrina victims” in exchange for her vote on The Health Care bill. Or the Senator from Arkansas who didn’t make up her mind until Reid gave her a pocketful of tax dollars for her district. And how many others were given this special brand of persuasion? What do we have in our government’s inner circles, people that trained in the Mafia? Hell why use money to bribe them, why not just make them an offer they can’t refuse! That would work just as well.

Does this make sense to you? Do you know that Reid and Pelosi just paid almost half a BILLION dollars to buy these three votes and God knows how many more? And no one wants to challenge this in Federal Court? Folks, this is bribery! This is NOT legal! If this is the way these people are running our government, they all need to be charged with crimes and brought to trial!!! .Why not stand at the door of the Hall and simply hand out thousand dollars bills to the congressmen and women as they come in. You know a big smile and a “Hope you are with us on this one, this is for you.”
And you hand that the thousand dollar note.

Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid have BRIBED at least three Representatives and Senators. No one can tell me this is lawful or legal or proper. It is none of these things. What it is, is criminal! Let’s shine a spotlight on this and watch which rats scurry for cover. .

I want these two charged with bribing high government officials. I think the case against them is open and shut. And it will invovled far more than three people, I will bet you. God knows how much of our money these two have used to BUY this legislation.

The people we sent to Washington as our representatives are supposed to vote on conscience not for cash on the barrel head. .Hell, if they can be bribed on one project, why not on another? And if they can be bribed why can’t everyone. Or can they?

And if everyone can, what kind of government is this and why do we bother to vote. I thought we elected representatives to represent US – but apparently they represent whomever gives them the biggest kick back. I can see them now taking the oath with one hand on the Bible and the other held open behind them where people can stuff money into it.

CALL IT WHAT IT IS – WHAT THESE TWO DID WAS TO BRIBE HIGH GOVERNMENT OFFICIALS IN ORDER TO UNDULY INFLUENCE OUR LEGISLATIVE PROCESS. I AM NOT SURE BUT I THINK THAT’S A FEDERAL CRIME NO MATTER WHO DOES IT!!!!!!

So let’s file charges and see what rats run out of the smoking building.

God Bless America. God Bless honesty and integrity. It seems to have disappeared from our government – maybe we should do something to bring it back

On behalf of the American voter, I demand an investigation be opened immediately to determine if Speaker of the House of Representatives Nancy Pelosi and Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid broke the law in giving special consideration to at least these three elected officials in order to cause them to change their vote on the Health Care Bill.

Because if they did, they belong in jail!!!

Baby Boomers Retiring in Merry England

Retiring in Merry England: BoomerYearbook.com

Articles from Boomeryearbook.com explore the fascinating and varied behavioral patterns that occur when families are affected by outside events, or by the impact of the modern World; the challenges faced in the new age and the hurdles that must be addressed: The Boomeryearbook.com Guide and Coaching Strategy for the baby boomer generation.

By Boomeryearbook.com

Baby boomers have been raised on tales of their fathers’ and grandfathers’ experiences of wartime England and some of the stories of the warmth of English hospitality and the good old English pub scene are by no means exaggerated. There is nowhere quite like England when it is the height of summer and the strawberries are in season: lunch on the lawn under the Chestnut tree; cricket teas; village fairs.

England is certainly all of this and more but there are some drawbacks to English life, not the least of which is the weather which can cast a damp pall over just about everything, making it impossible to plan ahead for a barbecue and edging a grey tinge around even the most enjoyable social event. English weather is unpredictable at best and an English summer during a bad year can be non existent, constantly battered by rain and wind from April through to September. Psychological articles recommend that anyone with a tendency to depression or suffering with SAD (Seasonal Affected Disorder) should avoid the English climate at all cost.

Retiring in England: BoomerYearbook.com

Retiring in England: BoomerYearbook.com

That being said, the upside of English life must be the culture scene, with just about every town and village in the country involved in its own celebration of English heritage and history. The larger cities offer a wealth of stage plays; galleries; exhibitions and museums and English Heritage provides an incredible list of stately homes to visit for those whose tastes run to trawling through several hundred years of tapestries and family artefacts.

Most American baby boomers retiring to the UK take the precaution of prescribing to private health cover and enjoy top quality medical attention in the several hundred superior clinics and hospitals all over the country. The UK health service has received severe criticism in terms of waiting lists and sub standard care but in fact psychological articles advise that the standards are not that bad and certainly private clinics have an excellent reputation.

The price of property in the UK depends on location. Rental can be expensive but in general the property market is seen as a sound long term investment for prospective baby boomers who wish to retire to good old ‘Blighty’. The traditional thatched country cottage with roses around the porch can be costly but British housing is well controlled and still represents a reasonably safe purchase for those who yearn for a social life in the local British pub and a safe and secure, albeit slightly soggy retirement…!

Baby Boomers Retiring in New Zealand

Articles from Boomeryearbook.com explore the fascinating and varied behavioral patterns that occur when families are affected by outside events, or by the impact of the modern World; the challenges faced in the new age and the hurdles that must be addressed: The Boomeryearbook.com Guide and Coaching Strategy for the baby boomer generation.

By BoomerYearbook.com

New Zealand is literally the end of the World and it’s only minus point could be that from here, there is nowhere else to go; apart from Australia, that is, which is still a couple of thousand kilometres away! Baby boomers considering retiring in New Zealand are usually doing so because they have a passion for outdoor activities and a healthy lifestyle.

The old joke is that New Zealand closes at ten every evening and there is certainly some truth in this, so baby boomers seeking a hot night life should rule New Zealand out as a viable option – the only place to find nightclubs and trendy restaurants in New Zealand are in the larger cities such as Auckland or Wellington.

So why would anyone want to go there, you might ask? Psychological articles teach us that quite simply New Zealand must be the most beautiful country in the World; a paradise of contrasts where you can sunbathe in the snow – swim in the lake in the morning and ski a virgin slope in the afternoon; fish for rainbow trout for lunch or take a white water ride if you’re the type who likes your hair either blowing in a fresh breeze or standing on end in fright.

One of the first things baby boomers might notice on arriving in New Zealand is the light – it is dazzling and everywhere you look, the impressive landscape is showcased by the light effect that makes the whole country look like a picture postcard with vibrant color – the blues look bluer somehow, the greens look greener and the sheep look whiter!

New Zealanders are the most hospitable people in the World and American baby boomers always find a warm welcome. If you stay at one of their houses, however, be prepared to be coaxed to stay six months – they will entice you to come for ‘tea’ (yeah, come round for tea, it’s not far) which consists of half a sheep and a large helping of pavlova washed down with gallons of tea, before inviting you to stay for the sheep shearing party the following month rather than return home (oh, you can’t travel all that way today, it’s miles away…) One of the World’s most beautiful and genuinely affectionate people, New Zealanders will give you their last dollar whether you need it or not!

New Zealand is not the cheapest place in the World to retire and in fact the cost of living is quite high, probably on a par with the US. The local restaurant scene is pretty limited but the food itself is gorgeous with fresh, home grown and super sized ingredients readily available along with superior food hygiene standards and control. Property is reasonably priced and psychological articles recommend that the health service is of a high standard.

Baby Boomers Retiring to The Caribbean

Articles from Boomeryearbook.com explore the fascinating and varied behavioral patterns that occur when families are affected by outside events, or by the impact of the modern World; the challenges faced in the new age and the hurdles that must be addressed: The Boomeryearbook.com Guide and Coaching Strategy for the baby boomer generation.

By Boomeryearbook.com

Some of the most fantastic beach locations in the World are found alongside Caribbean waters and the homes for sale in Caribbean locations are certainly impressive, with outdoor living a feature that comes as standard. Some offer private beach access and many baby boomers retiring in the Caribbean employ staff to make their retirement experience both comfortable and convenient.

Retiring in Trinidad, for example, can be as expensive or as budget-friendly as you please, depending on your financial position and frame of mind. You can buy an opulent beach side villa after the style of the famous Oliver Messel, one of the pioneers of the outdoor sitting room and a style guru worshipped by celebrities worldwide, or a modest two-bedroomed apartment on a sleepy street featuring fruit stalls and market traders.

One of the things baby boomers notice when they retire in the Caribbean is that if they arrive feeling slightly jaded and frayed around the edges, they very soon wake up that a new part of their lives is just beginning and become filled with enthusiasm and energy; psychological articles show that this is simply a side benefit of achieving a healthier and stress free lifestyle.

Life is certainly slower in this part of the World and any signs of hurry are quickly brought under control by the sunny smiles of the locals who are quick to assure newcomers that whatever is going to happen can happen tomorrow, so chill out and enjoy the sun, the exquisite local cuisine and the beach. Taking life slowly is an art form here, which likely explains the absence of stress in most people’s personal outlook.

American baby boomers are welcomed with open arms to Caribbean shores. The cost of living is low, around a third of what it costs to survive in the US, perhaps slightly more depending on whether you have expensive tastes! The weather is warm all the year through, so those living in retirement in the Caribbean tend to become quickly accustomed to wearing fewer clothes.

The health system in Trinidad and other Caribbean destinations has improved in recent years but is still not up to the standard Americans expect. Private cover is therefore strongly recommended for baby boomers considering the Caribbean as a retirement option and anyone with a poor health record or ongoing health issues might be better advised to seek an alternative retirement plan that includes a reliable local health service.

Psychological articles note that stress levels in the Caribbean characteristically low this year and are forecast to remain that way for the foreseeable future!

With an average temperature of around 75º and a low crime rate, the beautiful tropical paradise of Hawaii draws plenty of interest for retiring baby boomers. There is enough rainfall in Hawaii to keep it green and colorful all the year round and Hawaii is renowned for its vibrant and abundant flowers. Definitely up there when it comes to providing retirees with a gentle and civilized retirement haven, Hawaii is encircled with more than 100 top starred beaches and has it all when it comes to outdoor living and an excellent quality of life.

There is something magnetic about Hawaii: perhaps the attraction is the climate, encouraging residents to slop around in beach sandals, shorts and brightly flowered shirts and muumuus. For tired and aging executives who have spent their careers battling with the commuter traffic in New York or Chicago and yearn for an absence of pressure, Hawaii has peace and ‘laid back living’ in abundance, all just a plane ride away.

On the practical side, there is no way Hawaii could be described as a bargain retirement zone. Many of the good things in life are free but few of them are on offer in Hawaii! However, for many baby boomers, cheap retirement is not what they are seeking and they place a premium on good facilities such as good quality health care, excellent social life and a high standard of American styled property in great golf or beachside locations. Psychological articles rate Hawaii as one of the healthiest locations in the World.

Baby boomers tend to seek retirement that offers activity as well as the opportunity to chill out and Hawaii has a wealth of water sports to choose from, including scuba diving; surfing; sailing and spectacular fishing. The wonderful weather brings out the best in most people and in general there is air of casual hospitality associated with Hawaii.

For those who are looking for a little piece of heaven in retirement but do not wish to leave the United States, Hawaii is the place to settle with its unmistakable air of beachside elegance and its beautiful homes that feature wide terraces to make the best of one of the best climates in the World.

Psychological articles tell us that baby boomers determined to stay in the United States in retirement represent a huge part of the Hawaiian community and love the islands and the country club style social life that is part of the Hawaiian lifestyle.

“HERE COMES SARAH!”

By Joseph J Kusnell

This race has just begun!!!

Sarah has had MINIMAL positive exposure so far thanks to the liberal leftist media. She has taken their biggest hits and is still standing!!! I liken it to a prize fighter who gets hit constantly in the first two rounds but stays on his feet. His opponent is going to be shocked to learn that the fight is far from over. In fact, today’s polls show a surprising story. Sarah’s popularity is growing not diminishing.

Today is not 2012. That’s a long way from now. Sarah has three years to make her case, hit the campaign trail, build political bridges etc. She needs money certainly but to underrate her would be the liberals most serious mistake. And I think they know that which is why they are hitting her so hard. Wait until she begins hitting back aT their weaknesses. This battle has barely begun.

I don’t know if Governor Palin can make it all the way to the top but I don’t have to know that today. For today, I know she is a growing power in politics, that she has 20 million supporters who need to give her a few dollars each to work with in 2010, that she has energy, youth, brains, experience and she is the antithesis of all those East coast Marxist jerks we can’t stand. And a lot of other Americans also can’t stand.
She is a refreshing change.

Republicans are just 23% of the vote. Blue dogs that will cross over probably number 3-5% more that we could attract. We would need 22% more and that must come from Independents which number about 40% legitimately. So she needs half. But she has three years to gather them into her fold.

Palin was viewed favorably by just 23% three months ago. Then that moved to 30%. This morning it is 45%. And she has just begun to fight. She has next year when she will campaign across the country and two years after that. That’s a lot of room for growth and she starts with great qualities. We will see what we see.

The following CBS graph was supposedly a bad picture of her popularity a few months ago. (And remember the liberal media will print lies if they have to. They will also call very carefully selected people and asked leading questions to get the results they want. And they will always print worse-case numbers.) So at first blush, this looks bad.

“ONLY 23% OF AMERICANS VIEW PALIN FAVORABLY,” they said.

Yes but – 20% said they hadn’t decided and 17% said they hadn’t heard enough. That’s not negative at all and in lieu of all the horrible things printed about her every day, it’s actually pretty reasonable.

Now they will have a chance to meet her and hear her over and over. Add tthet 23% to the 20% and the 17% and look what you have: you have 60% willing to be convinced!!!

More importantly with all the negative press, Sarah in this CBS poll was seen unfavorably by just 38% of the public. That could be 10% Blacks (90% of 12.5%) , 11% Hispanics (78% of 14.5%), and 6% radical leftists. But that’s the Democratic hard core base right now anyway Let’s assume the other 11% came from the 40% Independents. Even a few of those could be taken back.

Looking beyond the obvious I would say Sarah Palin took their best shots and is still standing and she is now ready and better prepared to hit back hard in the 2010 elections.

But she needs money to tour the country on behalf of candidates we want in office.
Therefore, all her supporters need to send money to her PAC. $10 or $15 bucks each would be enough if everyone did it. Say $15 now and $15 in three months. Everyone can afford that. Spread the word. Her Pac address follows.

This would give her 300 MILLION dollars and if money is what Obama used to electe himself, Sarah can do even better for her candidates because she is a genuine leader, a good person, an example of a strong, experienced, capable politician and very likable. Plus she is a true American patriot. Wait and see. This battle has just begun and she withstood the first huge barrage – what do they have to hit her with now? Sarah is not only still standing but stronger than she ever was. Don’t be deceived. As she campaigns, as she toughens up, she will start hitting back harder and harder and she is going to energize the Obama opposition like we haven’t seen for years. .

Sarah Palin has just completed Round 1 of a 10 round bout. She took some good shots but she is still standing. Now someone is in for a hell of a shock.

I sent a small donation and I will send another. Everyone should send a few bucks. This is the woman of the hour. Spread the word. Invest in Sarah and she will re-invest your money in America!

What a symbol. What a bumper sticker. That banner with the flag and the serpent with Sarah’s head. lol. Think that would be too much? “DON’T TREAD ON ME!”

Unlike you, I think our fight has just begun.

WAIT UNTIL THE LEFT SEES WHAT IS IN STORE FOR THEM FROM THE LADY FROM ALASKA!

They ain’t seen nothing yet!

Here’s where you send your money!

PS If you need motivation, check out the kind of people this President has brought into our White House. Here is a partial list of his 53 Czars. They don’t even seem like Americans to me.
